This page provides information on the current status of the 30m telescope. It is intended for visiting astromers at the telescope and for astronomers preparing 30m observations. The IRAM staff tries to keep this page up to date as much as possible, however, some information may still be outdated. Backend Status

Fourier Transform Spectrometers (FTS)

FTS are being offered since 1-Dec-2010. The current FTS cover 2x4GHz with 195kHz resolution. It consists of 8 FTS units, which are installed in parallel to the 4MHz spectrometer. If both backends are to be used, they have to be attached to the same EMIR bands. FTS for HERA are not yet available. The pako command is similar to the commands for the other backends:
