NIKA2 Homagepage

The New Instrument of Kids Arrays (NIKA2) is the next generation continuum instrument to be placed at the 30m telescope of IRAM, at Pico Veleta (Spain). The instrument is based on Kinetic Inductance Detectors (KID). The baseline detector focal plane units consist of 1020 detectors at 2 mm and 2x1140 detectors at 1.15 mm. The instrument will provide the measurement of the linear polarization at 1.15 mm.
