 * When doing a map observation make sure sky noise is below 80
  • Good weather means tau<0.5

  • With tau between 0.4-0.5 we should observe low priority bolometer projects.
  • Low sky noise means <80

  • Medium skynoise means 80-160
  • High skynoise >160

  • Try observing in elevations between 30-75deg
  • Flux calibrations every 2 hours on a bright source shouuld be done, (planet?)
  • Do not forget to change to gain2 when observing a planet and change back to gain10 when done

  • Repeat the skydip every 2 hours to measure oppacity (bt)
  • Before observing a scientific source, do a pointing calibration (p60)y on a nearby secondary source (pointing depends on the position of the sky)
  • When starting a new project, check if you have set the project in the scripts. if not, please do it.

  • When doing a map observation make sure sky noise is below 80
