2014-01-24
- We use both the manual log below and the tapas database that automatically fills scans table with the scan informations.
So please login with the t21 acount and its usual password (durc***9) to the TAPAS database.
For now the TAPAS is not fully filled in real time, but completed with all the scans everyday by Pablo on the morning following the observations. So we keep a manual log below, but in a simplified table with the comments and only the most useful scan info.
Programm for today:
- We start with the polariser mounted and running.
- Skydip.
- Focus and Beam maps on Uranus. Centered on the refence detector: #494 of the 2mm array (#5 of the 1mm array is very close to it).
- Polar Lissajous on several quasars
- Finish polar session at sunset with beam map on Uranus and skydip.
- Dismount polariser just after sunset.
- Beam map on Uranus
- Resume pointing session
- Beam map on Uranus or a bright quasar.
- Integration on a very weak source to measure the noise.
Remark for NIKA staff: Good data are on RAW_X9
