Control and Backend Room

Ethernet Connections at the end of run9:

• Power switch : 3 connections
  • SAMI
  • Mini Mac (33)
  • Mini Mac (35)
• NIKA Router : 4 connections
  • 1 to IRAM network
  • 1 to NIKA switch (NIKA private network)
  • 1 to Windows PC
  • 1 to the power switch
• SAMI is connected directly to the NIKA switch in the backend room
• Min Mac (33) is connected directly to the NIKA switch in the backend room
• Min Mac (35) is connected directly to the NIKA switch in the backend room

• Archeops 10 ( TeraHz ) is connected directly to the NIKA switch from the backend room to the control room. We keep this computer connected.

• Archeops 8 and 9 are connected directly from NIKA switch (n1) in the backend room to another NIKA switch (n3) put under the table in the middle of the control room. Then, another cable under the floor connects this NIKA switch to another one (n3) put on the table where we put the two computers. Archeops 8 and 9 have been switched off and

For the next open pool we propose to change this configuration putting a at least 20m ethernet cable directly from the NIKA switch n1 to the n3.

NIKA Cage

  • material for metal bars.
  • spare mixer, filters, attenuators, ampli, small coax cables.

    • 2 spare NIKA arrays

      • 1mm : NICA 8e 25nm - 2mm : NICA 8f1 15nm

  • Cryogenic material : vacuum grease, o-rings, clamps, tees, reducers.
• Coax for the NIKA arrays: 4 SMA, 4 semi-rigid
• 4 pneumatic foots
• 1 nitrogen bowl (polystyrene + eccosorb)
• 1 preampl power supply
• 1 Automate National Instrument
• 1 spectrum analyser / VNA, 2652A + 2 SMA coax.
