  • Select the XFCE Session
  • login the project
  • open a terminal (Applications Menu -> Terminal Emulator)

  • if the promt is not shown properly go to Edit -> Profile preferences -> Colors and uncheck the option "Use colors from system theme"

  • be sure that you are in the home directory (just type cd)
  • change to mrt-lx1 (ssh -X mrt-lx1)
  • type 'gopako', 'pakodisplay', and 'pako'

mrt-lx7 - CLASS, MIRA, etc-Terminal

CLASS
  • open a terminal (see above)
  • be sure that you are in the home directory (type 'cd')
  • change to mrt-lx2 or mrt-lx3 (ssh -X mrt-lx2; ssh -X mrt-lx3)
  • type 'cd observationData/mira'
  • type 'CLASS'

MIRA
  • open a terminal (see above)
  • be sure that you are in the home directory (type 'cd')
  • change to mrt-lx2 or mrt-lx3 (ssh -X mrt-lx2; ssh -X mrt-lx3)
  • type 'cd mira'

    • view, skyview
    • Start automatic, regular updates of the sky display: press 'RT' next to Looping
    • plot sources: Data - Files - Select Catalog
    • plot visibility tracks: right click on sourse, create trail
    • plot position of one source: Data - Index - enter name - click on Sky
