 * login
 * open a terminal (Applications Menu -> Terminal Emulator)
 * if the promt is not shown properly go to Edit -> Profile preferences -> Colors and uncheck the option "Use colors from system theme"
 * change to mrt-lx3 (ssh -X mrt-lx3) and type 'gopako', 'pakodisplay', and 'pako'
 * change to mrt-lx2 (ssh -X mrt-lx2) for class, greg, etc.

 * open a teminal
 * change to mrt-lx3 (ssh -X mrt-lx3)

   * view, skyview
   * Start automatic, regular updates of the sky display: press 'RT' next to Looping
   * plot sources: Data - Files - Select Catalog
   * plot visibility tracks: right click on course, create trail
   * plot position of one source: Data - Index - enter name - click on Sky Point

mrt-lx7 - Pako-Terminal

  • Select the XFCE Session
  • login
