 * Check that imbFITS files are being produced by both the new and old systems.

 * Data obtained in the previous run (#74) were successfully reprocessed using the PIIC/DAFs in force (/sw/gildas/mopsic/dafs). So, the default PIIC/DAFs mentioned in the document linked below are very likely to work. Best focus offset of Ar1 wrt. Ar2 is ~ +0.5 mm, and ~ +0.2 mm for Ar3 wrt. Ar1 (see plot below; linear fits are weighted by inverse rms values). Check these focus offsets.

 * A note about focus corrections: data of run #74 was reprocessed with the Best focus offset of Ar1 wrt. Ar2 is ~ +0.5 mm, and ~ +0.2 mm for Ar1 wrt. Ar3 (see plot below; linear fits are weighted by inverse rms values).

 * First of all, check the focus offsets in total power after the cooldown. Over run #72 focus corrections of Ar2/1 were self-consistent and that of Ar3 was +0.3-0.4 mm displaced. On run #73, we obtained offsets of about +0.3 mm for Ar2/1 and +0.6 mm for Ar2/3. Depending on these tests, we would establish appropriate compromise values.

 * Beam maps to produce new DAFs/kidpars with new reference KID (Ar2, central KID).

 * Calib_1scan maps on flux standards in total power & polarimetry. In the latter case, get focus correction from Ar1-Ar3 average.

 * Small maps on point-like & extended (auxiliary) bright sources.
 * AB: Considering the circumstances in which this campaign will be carried out (heterodyne pool), the most practical approach would be to obtain (i) a pair of beam maps with optimized Z focus for each array (first priority) and (ii) obtaining the deep fields (~5h in total) in one of the sources to be selected (use @generic_otf_radec).

Preliminaries

  • Check the Cryo run 87 (run #75 of NIKA2) is activated in DAQ *.ini files, as well as for the creation of imbFITS files (new & old systems).

  • Check that imbFITS files are being produced by both the new and old systems.
  • Data obtained in the previous run (#74) were successfully reprocessed using the PIIC/DAFs in force (/sw/gildas/mopsic/dafs).

Goals of NIKA2 run 75 (Re-commissioning of NIKA2+, fourth part)

  • See priorities and procedures at this link.

  • AB: Considering the circumstances in which this campaign will be carried out (heterodyne pool), the most practical approach would be to obtain (i) a pair of beam maps with optimized Z focus for each array (first priority) and (ii) obtaining the deep fields (~5h in total) in one of the sources to be selected (use @generic_otf_radec).
