The document below in attached aims at giving the guidelines for the next commissioning phase of NIKA2 concerning the polarization channel.
It is based on the experience we gained with NIKA and lists technical tests to be done and observational sources, which will be of interest for both
the instrumental polarization characterization and the calibration of angle and degree of polarization.

REMEMBER: in the cryostat the polariser has horizontal wires. It means that the array 260GHz in transmission is sensitive to a polarisation vertical (E field vertical wrt the input window of the cryostat). The array 260GHz in reflection on the other hand is sensitive to a polarisation horizontal (E field horizontal wrt the input window of the cryostat).
