NIKA run #6 (11-18 June 2013)
Goals of the run
Install and test the new 2mm array and the 1mm cold amplifier (see the preparation run)
Commission the NIKA prototype and make a full characterization of the system on sky (not an astronomical oriented run).
- Characterization of the final NIKA prototype configuration
- Perform a new pointing model starting from the old NIKA Run5 one.
- Commission all sequences (pointing, focus, skydip, zigzag otf map, Lissajou map).
- Get the sensitivity and time estimator right.
- Perform some science demonstration observations on a best effort basis.
