  12 In the proposal we asked for pmw < 7 mm.

  14    => tau_225GHz = 0.0405 * pmw + 0.0105 ~ 0.3

  16 Therefore, this project is meant to be observed only when tau is < 0.3.
  17 However, in conditions of good stability, values up to tau ~0.5 are acceptable.
  18 In case of doubt ask the AoD.

  20 ######################## OBSERVATIONS BOOKKEEPING ############################

  22 We prepared a script to observe our target (see ~/001-17/observe_NGC4449.pako)
  23 consisting of 3 rounds of on-the-fly maps. The scanning direction adopts
  24 3 different values (0, 45, and 90 degrees) within each round in order to avoid
  25 striping artifacts. The execution of the script will take ~90 minutes (3 rounds,
  26 3 scanning directions, 10 min per map), so "observe_NGC4449" must be executed
  27 6 times to reach the allocated time. If you observe this project, please keep
  28 the number of repetitions (Nreps) updated.

  35 The NIKA2 wiki provides instructions to start PaKo and to setup the telescope:

  39 Once PaKo is open, load the setup script:

  43 Then do a pointing on the nearby pointing source:

  48 Once the scan is done, introduce the pointing corrections (see the wiki).

  50 Check the value of the FWHM. If FWHM > 21 arcseconds then the telescope needs
  51 to be focused (see the wiki).
